Upcoming Events at Local Clubs

Maribel Sportsmen's Club will offer an ATV safety course on Monday, April 27, Wednesday, April 29, and Wednesday, May 6 all from 5:30 to 9 p.m. Students must be at least 11 years old to take the course. Anyone born Jan. 1, 1988 or after must have the course to ride off your own property. Cost is $10 per student. Pre-registration is required by calling John Decker at (920) 242-0278.

The 33'rd annual Cleveland fishing derby will be held July 25, 26 & 27 at Hika Bay Park in Cleveland, WI.  Food, refreshments and walk around raffles will be available throughout the weekend.  Fishing awards and raffle prizes will be presented Sunday at approximately 4:00 p.m. the grand prize is $750.00.  Please note, fish ticket order forms are not being mailed out this year.  Please stop by one of the following businesses to purchase your fish ticket. In Cleveland: Hika Bay Tavern and Dassler Sales and Service.  In Sheboygan: Gander Mountain, The Wharf and Anglers Avenue.  In Manitowoc: Louie's Sporting goods. The Bourbon Cowboys will perform Saturday evening from 7:00 until 11:00.

Kid's Archery Day – Reedsville Sportsmen's Club
 
The Reedsville Sportsmen's Club will be holding a Kids Archery Day July 12.  It is a free archery day for kids between the ages of 4-14.  Registration for the event is from 9am to 2pm awards given at 3.  The kids will receive a free lunch and a trophy for participating.  Any questions contact John at 754-4527.

Manitowoc Rifle & Pistol Club Events
Winter open trap is held the 1st Sunday in January to the last Sunday of April, from Noon to 3:00, and Summer open trap is held the 1st Wednesday of May to the 1st Wednesday of September from 5:30 to dusk.  You do not need to be a member for open trap.  A round of trap is $4.00.

Action Pistol is shot twice a month from April thru September:
Tuesday 5:00 PM to dusk: April 29, May 27, June 29, July 27, August 19 and
September 16
Saturday 9:00 AM to noon:  April 26, May 24, June 21, July 22, August 16, and September 13
Match fees are $3 for club members and $5 for nonmembers

Memberships are available on a sponsored basis.  Dues are set at the annual meeting.  We are currently holding a $10,000 1st prize raffle, with the proceeds to be used for facility improvements.
